Above is the roadmap for the SWATs project. Guided by the roadmap, we aim to:
- Identify key strategies based on data and literature for achieving SDG6 and thereby develop a Water Sustainable Index (WSI)
- Assess the status of sustainable water supply by WSI in local catchment areas (pilot studies)
- Test low-cost new research and innovation methods to improve water quality monitoring and management
- Develop strategies/benchmarks from assessment results for future research and innovation applications in other case studies in the future
